The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has re-signed non-import offensive linemen Mike Filer, Joel Reinders, Landon Rice and Carson Rockhill.
Filer, a 6-2, 300-pound native of Brantford, Ontario, has suited up in 14 regular season games since signing with the Ticats on August 12, 2012. He was selected in the fifth-round (31st overall) of the 2012 CFL Draft by the Calgary Stampeders.
Reinders, a 6-8, 312-pound native of Oakville, Ontario, dressed in five games with the Ticats last season after joining the practice roster on September 19. The Waterloo product previously spent time with the Toronto Argonauts as well as the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants.
Rice, a 6-6, 315-pound native of Brandon, Manitoba, spent last season on the Ticats practice roster following five seasons at the University of Manitoba.
Rockhill, a 6-6, 294-pound native of Parksville, British Columbia, finished the 2013 season on Hamilton’s practice roster after taking part in training camp with the Edmonton Eskimos. Originally selected in the second round (13th overall) of the 2012 CFL Draft by Hamilton, The Calgary product’s rights were sent to Edmonton as part of a five-player trade on February 2, 2013.
