PLAYOFF IMPLICATIONS

GAMEDAY EXPERIENCE

The first 5,000 fans through the gates will receive limited edition drawstring backpacks courtesy of Guelph Hydro.

Fans are encouraged to stick around after the game for a team autograph session.  Tiger-Cats players will be available for autographs and photos on the turf at Alumni Stadium (weather permitting).

CFL PINK

The Ticats will also celebrate CFL Pink on Saturday.  During October, the CFL and its member teams are committed to raising awareness and funds to tackle women’s cancers and making a positive difference in communities across the country.  On Saturday, Tiger-Cats players will wear pink gloves and other accessories.

At halftime, thousands of pink balloons will be released.  Fans can acquire a biodegradable pink balloon in exchange for a donation upon entering the stadium.  Proceeds from the balloons will be directed to the University of Guelph’s Dr. Ma, whose research examines the linkage between diet and cancer, specifically, the role of omega-3 fats in breast cancer prevention.  .

The BreastStrokes, a Guelph-based Dragon Boat Team featuring women who have all experienced breast cancer first-hand, will assist with the balloon release.
