The 11th annual Purolator Tackle Hunger food drive will visit Alumni Stadium on Monday when the Tiger-Cats host the Thanksgiving Day Classic against the Toronto Argonauts.
On game day, fans are encouraged to help tackle hunger by bringing a non-perishable food item or cash donation to the Purolator and food bank volunteers stationed at the stadium gates. In return, fans will have the opportunity to have their digital photo taken with the Grey Cup, located at Gate 4 (southwest side of the stadium). All proceeds from the food drive will support Guelph Food Bank.
In addition to the food drive, every time a CFL quarterback gets sacked throughout the regular season, Purolator will donate the equivalent of the quarterback’s weight in food.
