By The Numbers: Tiger-Cats Win In Edmonton

1 – Number of times the Ticats needed to use punter Josh Bartel in the first half.  The Ticats recorded 16 first downs en route to a 16-7 first half lead.  Bartel finished the game with three punts for 153 yards — an incredible 51-yard average.

3 – Touchdowns scored by rookie receiver Greg Ellingson over the last two games.  Friday marked the first multi-score game of Ellingson’s young career.

3 – Number of games in which rookie defensive back Arthur Hobbs has recorded at least five tackles this season.  He led the Ticats with eight on Friday. 

– Games with 60+ receiving yards for receiver Bakari Grant.  Grant is the CFL’s second-leading receiver with 408 yards through six games.

9:28 – The Tiger-Cats advantage in the time of possession column against the Eskimos. 

93.6 – Luca Congi’s field goal percentage in his seven games vs. the Eskimos.  He is now 15 of 16, with his only miss coming in week two’s monsoon at Alumni Stadium.

10.4 – Yards gained per rush by backup quarterback Dan LeFevour.  LeFevour entered the game to take over the offence on three separate drives and ran for 52 yards on five carries while throwing for 18 yards.

14 – 250+ yard passing games for Henry Burris after Friday’s 293-yard effort.

15 – Average yards gained per catch by sophomore receiver Sam Giguere, who led the Ticats with six catches for 90 yards.

16 – Different Tiger-Cats who recorded at least one tackle.

24 – Number of consecutive starts made by Ticats quarterback Henry Burris.

73% – The Tiger-Cats completion percentage on Friday.  Henry Burris and Dan LeFevour combined for a 22/30 effort at Commonwealth Stadium.

153 – Rushing yards accumulated by the Black and Gold on Friday.  By far their highest total this season and sixth-highest total in Hamilton’s last 50 games.
