EsksThe  Eskimos arrive in Guelph on Sunday looking for their first win of the year and will be relying on their defence to lead the way. Despite losing to Saskatchewan in a one-sided affair last week, the Eskimos defence enters week 2 having allowed the fewest passing yards (209) among all CFL teams.

Additionally, the Esks’ secondary only allowed Saskatchewan to convert in a 2nd down situation on 10 of 21 attempts.

In 2012, Edmonton’s defence ranked first in forced turnovers with 49,  27 of those turnovers coming from interceptions by their secondary.

In two games vs. the Ticats last season, Edmonton picked off Henry Burris five times while holding Burris to a 57.1 passing percentage the last time the teams met in 2012.
