Scarfone Hawkins LLP & Ticats 'D' Team Up
SCARFONE HAWKINS LLP AND TICATS D TEAM UP TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Defensive Difference Makers Program launches in support of the John Howard Society of Hamilton, Burlington & Area
The Tiger-Cats defence is hungry for interceptions this season and will be looking to make a difference in the community while wreaking havoc on opposing teams.
The Defensive Difference Makers program, presented by Scarfone Hawkins LLP will provide financial support for the John Howard Society for every interception that the Tiger-Cats defence makes. For every pass picked off by the Tiger-Cats during home games in Guelph, a donation of $250 will be made to the John Howard Society by Scarfone Hawkins. For every “pick 6” where the Tiger-Cats defence scores a touchdown on an interception, the amount donated by Scarfone Hawkins would be $500.
“We’re thrilled to be a part of the Defensive Difference Makers program this year. The work that the John Howard Society does in the community is outstanding and this program allows to help a worthy cause while cheering on the Ticats D,” said Scarfone Hawkins Managing Partner, Joe Speranzini.
The John Howard Society works with at-risk youth living in poverty in Hamilton & Burlington to provide them with opportunities to succeed in life through a broad range of community services. “The John Howard Society of Hamilton, Burlington and Area is very pleased to be a part of The Defensive Difference Makers Program. This Program will have a direct and positive impact on the youth we work with and will make a difference in changing the lives of the young people we work with in our community by providing hope and opportunity,” said Dave Lane, Executive Director of the John Howard Society of Hamilton, Burlington & Area.
