The Tiger-Cats have acquired Canadian fullback Dahrran Diedrick from the Montreal Alouettes in exchange for a fourth-round selection in the 2014 CFL Draft, the team announced today.
Diedrick is in his ninth CFL season, having previously spent one year with the Edmonton Eskimos before playing seven seasons with the Alouettes. He has also suited up with the NFL’s San Diego Chargers, Green Bay Packers and Washington Redskins.
The 6-0, 226-pound Nebraska product has ran for 853 yards, caught 11 passes for 64 receiving yards, recorded 46 special teams tackles and scored six touchdowns.
