The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that import running back Avon Cobourne has been released.
“We’d like to thank Avon for his professionalism and hard work during his time as a member of our organization. We appreciate everything Avon gave to the team and wish him the best in the future,” said Vice President of Football Operations, General Manager and Head Coach Kent Austin.
Cobourne ran for 737 yards, caught 32 passes for 337 receiving yards and scored four touchdowns last season, his seventh in the CFL.
