The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that import linebacker Nate Bussey has been added to the team’s practice roster.
Bussey, a 6-2, 220-pound native of Washington, D.C., was a seventh round draft pick of the New Orleans Saints in 2011 and attended training camp with the Jacksonville Jaguars earlier this year. In four seasons at Illinois, Bussey made 156 tackles.
The Ticats also announced that the following players have been released:
