The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has acquired import defensive lineman Torrey Davis from the Calgary Stampeders in exchange for future considerations.
Davis, a 6-3, 298-pound native of Seffner, Florida, joined the Calgary Stampeders in 2011 after stints with the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Arena Football League’s Spokane Shock. In 18 games over two seasons with the Stampeders, Davis registered 28 defensive tackles and one quarterback sack.
This season, Davis has made 16 tackles and one sack in eight games.
