The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that non-import offensive lineman Mike Filer and non-import receiver Bogdan Raic have been added to the practice roster.
Filer, a 6-2, 300-pound native of Brantford, Ontario, was selected with the 31st overall pick by the Calgary Stampeders in this year’s CFL Draft after four seasons at Mount Allison. He was named a AUS All-Star and second-team CIS All-Canadian in 2010.
Raic, a 6-2, 218-pound native of Belgrade, Serbia, caught 25 passes for 497 yards and five touchdowns in six games at Ottawa in 2011. He took part in the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ training camp earlier this year after signing as a free agent in May.
The Ticats also announced that the following players have been released:

Receiver Jordan Brescacin (Windsor) and offensive lineman Jason Medeiros (McMaster) have returned to their respective CIS schools.
