Numbers Game: Week 5

Take a closer look at some of the numbers and stats surrounding last Saturday’s win and this weekend’s upcoming game in Regina.

1475  Combined yards between Chevon Walker and Chris Williams, the most of any duo in the CFL.

1  Blocked kick in the CFL this season thus far, after Darcy Brown blocked a punt against Montreal last Saturday.

15:12  Average time of possession for Saskatchewan this year, the lowest in the league.

1st  The ranking in their respective divisions for Hamilton and Saskatchewan.

17  Point lead for the Roughriders against Calgary last week with eight minutes remaining in the game.  Calgary eventually came back to win the game in overtime.

1927  The year that Mosaic Stadium at Taylor Field opened, making it one of the oldest venues in the league and one year older than Ivor Wynne.

90  Burris’ completion percentage on Saturday, tying Jason Maas for the fifth-best single-game mark in CFL history.
