Numbers Game: Week 4

 

Take a more in-depth look at some of the numbers and statistics from last week’s game and leading up to Saturday’s contest against Montreal.

264:  Chris Williams’ total yardage from Saturday’s game, in which he scored three touchdowns, three different ways.

2,932:  Points scored by legendary Tiger-Cat kicker Paul Osbaldiston (ranking him 3rd in all-time CFL scoring) who will be honoured at halftime on Saturday.

296:  Total return yards put up by the Ticats against Toronto on Saturday.

96:  The number of points scored by both teams the last time Hamilton and Montreal got together. (52-44, 2011 Eastern Semi-Final)

11-1:  The record for home teams in the CFL so far this season.

14:  Touchdowns thrown by Henry Burris and Anthony Calvillo this season.

942: Passing yards racked up by Calvillo through three games, good for first in the CFL.  This will be the second-straight week that the Ticats’ defence faces the leading passer in the league.

9/25/09: The last time a Calvillo-led Alouettes team won at Ivor Wynne.

57.4: Anthony Calvillo’s completion percentage in his last three games at Ivor Wynne.  Five percent lower than his career percentage, leading to a record of 0-3 in those games.

118-50: The score, in the Ticats favour, in the last three games that Calvillo has started at Ivor Wynne.

4,944: Passing yards that Henry Burris is on pace to throw for this season.

5: Total touchdowns for Chris Williams so far this season, the most in the CFL.

41: Tackles between Renauld Williams and Jamall Johnson so far this season, good enough for second and third in the league respectively.
