Facebook Q&A with Chris Williams

We collected questions for receiver Chris Williams from fans via the Tiger-Cats Official Facebook page earlier this week.  Last year’s Most Outstanding Rookie provided some answers today…

Do you feel there is more pressure to perform this year after being named Rookie of the Year?  (From Sarah A.)

There is always going to be some types of pressure, Whether its pressure from others you just have to go out and work hard every day and the rest will come.

Who is the toughest DB you’ve faced in the CFL and what makes them so tough to play against? (From Curtis K.)

They are all tough in different ways. You have got to prepare each week and make sure you are always on your “A” game

How is the chemistry between you and (Henry Burris)? (From Lori L.)

Good, we’re getting better every day. We are constantly improving and trying to make sure we are perfect.

When you were younger and playing ball, who was your football idol?  Who did you want to be like? (From Laura C.)

My favorite football player would have to be Barry Sanders.  I was a Cowboys fan, so guys like him and Michael Irvin.

What do u think of Geroy Simon’s all receiving yards accomplishment? Do u think you can catch up to him and Milt Stegall if you stay in the CFL? (From Alan E.)

He’s a great receiver and just to put up numbers like that is impressive. As far as me… who knows.

I play receiver for my high school football team and I was wondering how to get as good as you? (From Jacob S.)

Just keep working hard and practicing every day, just try to perfect your skills and your talents

What has been the most defining point in your life … which confirmed that you needed to pursue a pro football career? (From John N.)

In college, I played basketball and ran track as well. I was definitely pretty good at those, but when I led the nation in receiving yards I figured football may be the way to go

What do you eat for breakfast? (From Stephen P.)

Eggs, toast, strawberries and some orange juice. It varies every day, but those are some of my favorites.
