Sunday brought the much-anticipated opening of training camp at McMaster. Enthusiasm was evident as longtime Tiger-Cats were joined by veteran additions like Andy Fantuz, Kevin Eiben and Terence Jeffers-Harris.
– Five players joined the roster and participated in both practices: RB James Berezik, FB Sam Fournier, DB DeWayne Lewis, DE Matt Oh and former Alouettes DE Jermaine McElveen.
– Running back Chevon Walker didn’t look any slower on Sunday after showing off his speed throughout rookie camp. Walker tore off two long runs after escaping defenders with his jets.
