Cats Boost Defence With Three Signings

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that import defensive backs Shawn Abuhoff and Craig Ray as well as import defensive lineman Brandon Boudreaux have been added to the roster. 

Abuhoff, a 5-11, 190-pound native of Hialeah, Florida, twice earned first-team All-Ivy recognition as both a defensive back and kick returner during his four seasons at Dartmouth.  He made 176 defensive tackles, eight tackles for a loss, six forced fumbles and 12 interceptions with the Big Green.

Ray, a 6-1, 205-pound native of Plainfield, Indiana, recorded 277 tackles and five interceptions in four seasons at Indianapolis.  He was named first-team All-GLIAC on two occasions, and was recognized as the GLIAC’s Defensive Back of the Year in 2010.

Boudreax, a 6-1, 240-pound native of Auburn, Alabama, made 21 tackles, 3.5 quarterback sacks and 3.5 tackles for a loss during his NCAA career at Troy.
