Ticats Complete Coaching Staff With Addition Of LB Coach
Hamilton Tiger-Cats head coach and director of football operations George Cortez has finalized the team’s full-time coaching staff today with the addition of John Zamberlin as linebackers coach.
Zamberlin served as defensive tackles coach at Weber State in 2011 after spending 14 years as a head coach at Idaho State (2007-10) and Central Washington (1997-2006). He was also the defensive coordinator at Richmond for two seasons after assistant coaching stints at Eastern Washington and Massachusetts.
As a player, Zamberlin spent six seasons as a linebacker in the NFL with the New England Patriots (1979-82) and the Kansas City Chiefs (1983-84).
The Ticats 2012 staff will consist of nine full-time coaches:
