HAMILTON — Maybe the Hamilton Tiger-Cats should let their fans call the plays more often.

Ticats supporters chose the first play the team ran Friday night at Ivor Wynne Stadium against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers as part of a contest.

Hamilton quarterback Kevin Glenn found receiver Chris Williams on a play-action roll out that went for 10 yards and a first down.

Fans were given a choice of four running and four passing plays listed on the Ticats’ website with an explanation from offensive co-ordinator Khari Jones.

Some Ticats players were skeptical about the promotion, but head coach Marcel Bellefeuille signed off on it during the off-season.
