Hamilton, Ontario – The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are giving fans the chance to determine what happens on and off the field at Friday’s game when they host the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on ‘Your Team, Your Rules Night’ at Ivor Wynne Stadium. Kickoff takes place at 7:30pm.
Beginning today, fans can vote on almost everything involved with Friday’s gameday experience – including the first rushing play and passing play executed by the Tiger-Cats offence. Fans will also vote on which uniform combination the Ticats will wear, which player’s playlist will be heard throughout the evening, which song will play after touchdowns, which song the cheerleaders will perform to, which player will be interviewed at halftime and much more.
Fans can visit Ticats.ca and the Ticats official Facebook page to submit their votes. Voting will end on Thursday at 5pm.
The Wendy’s Kick for a Million Semifinal event will take place at halftime. Semifinalists Nick Green, 23, from Mississauga and Greg Wilson, 51, from Calgary, will compete for the chance to kick a 50-yard field goal for $1 million live on national television during CFL on TSN Wendy’s Friday Night Football in Toronto on October 14.
