Tim Hortons and Ticats To Host Minor Football Clinic
TIM HORTONS AND THE HAMILTON TIGER-CATS TEAM UP TO HOST TIMBITS MINOR FOOTBALL CLINIC
Tim Hortons and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats will team up this Thursday, September 1st, to host the 13th Annual Timbits Minor Football Clinic. The clinic kicks off at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ivor Wynne Stadium.
Members of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats team will join the Timbits Football coaches to present a series of instructional and interactive stations the Timbits players will rotate to throughout the evening. For the players, this is the opportunity of a lifetime to play with many of their favourite Tiger-Cats on the home field of their hometown heroes.
“The Hamilton-area Tim Hortons Restaurant Owners are thrilled to present this unique experience to our young athletes,” said David Sauve, Tim Hortons Restaurant Owner. “Through this once in a lifetime opportunity, Timbits Football players will not only learn the skills necessary to succeed in their sport, but also the importance of teamwork and dedication. These are skills that will benefit them on and off the field.”
The Timbits Minor Football Clinic is an exciting part of Tim Hortons sponsorship of the Pee Wee, Atom and Bantam division of the Hamilton Minor Football Association. As an extension of Tim Hortons community-focused Timbits Minor Sports Program, the emphasis is not on the score, but rather on skill development and most of all having fun.
