TIGER-CATS HOST ALOUETTES AT IVOR WYNNE STADIUM THIS FRIDAY
Hamilton, Ontario – The Hamilton Tiger-Cats return to Ivor Wynne Stadium this Friday, July 29 to host the defending Grey Cup champion Montreal Alouettes at 6:30pm, presented by Pizza Pizza. The Ticats are riding a two-game win streak heading into this important East Division clash with the defending Grey Cup champions.
Marwan Hage will welcome his former minor football team to Ivor Wynne Stadium. Hage will bring over 40 minor football players from Montreal’s Sun Youth organization to Hamilton, where the team will enjoy Friday’s game in an end zone tent. Transportation for the team has been generously provided by VIA Rail and Hillfield Strathallan College.
Before kickoff, the gameday experience begins at the TigerTown Fanzone (Brian Timmis Field). Fans of all ages will enjoy the festivities, including inflatable games for kids, a cheerleader photo booth, alumni autograph sessions, music, food and more. The TigerTown Fanzone opens at 4:30pm.
At halftime, fans will be treated to a freestyle soccer exhibition and a youth mascot soccer game as part of ‘Futbol with the Ticats: Italian Heritage Night’.
