The Rouge et Or, who scored nine touchdowns in the contest, took advantage of 21 rookies in an injury-plagued McGill lineup to rack up 661 net yards of offence, compared to just 229 by the Redmen. Laval led 21-7 after the opening quarter, 35-7 at the half and 49-7 after three quarters.
