
(OFC) — The St. Leonard Cougars remain undefeated after a home victory over the Windsor AKO Fratmen. Although Windsor opened up a 10-0 lead the Cougars fought back to lead 20-10 at the half. The Frat rebounded to make it close at 30-24 before St. Leonard scored the clinching TD for a 37-24 win.
The Burlington Braves scored a convincing 47-17 victory over the visiting London Beefeaters to take over third place. Although both team have a win each the Braves currently hold the tiebreaker as London won the first game 19-14.
Next Saturday the St. Leonard Cougars (5-0) travel to London for the first of two trips in three weeks to take on the Beefeaters (1-4) at John Paul II Field at 7:00 p.m. In Windsor the Braves (1-4) will visit for another 7:00 p.m. tilt at Windsor Stadium against the AKO Fratmen (3-2).
