Ontario Football Conference Players of the Week

Outstanding Offensive Player of the Week
Ricky Simons – Quarterback – Windsor AKO Fratmen

Ricky led the Fratmen to a convincing 35–7 victory over the hometown London Beefeaters Saturday night. The Essex grad completed 9 of 16 pass attempts for an outstanding 298 yards and four touchdowns. His longest pass and catch went for 84 yards. The six-foot, 200-pound rookie ran in another TD himself.

Outstanding Defensive Player of the Week
Ryan Butler – Safety – Windsor AKO Fratmen

Ryan led all OFC defenders with 19 defensive points as the Fratmen defeated the hometown London Beefeaters 35–7. The 5’10”, 185 pounder out of Chatham was credited with six solo tackles, three assisted tackles and an interception.

Outstanding Special Teams Player of the Week
Christopher Milo – Kicker – St Leonard Cougars

Christopher has collected his third award in four weeks. The veteran kicker converted all four of the Cougars touchdowns in their 34–13 victory over the visiting Burlington Braves. He was also good on field goals of 31 and 34 yards for 10 total offensive points. His six kick offs traveled 342 yards (57-yard average), the longest 66 yards. As well he punted five times for 188 yards (37.6-yard average), the longest 53 yards.
